The issue called PROBLEM
Man over the years has been trying to make things easier for himself and his environment, but due to unforeseen circumstances, usually, beyond his physical control, he resorts to, in most cases, self-help which on the long run leads to other complicated problems. One then wonders why despite the numerous discoveries man has recorded over centuries, he is still under the whims and caprices of nature, which the geographers academically and philosophically calls "environmental determinism". Reactions are however rife on the way forward, hence the doctrine of necessity otherwise refers to "environmental possibilism" and "environmental probabilism". The above concepts are hidden in man's understanding of not only himself and his immediate environment, but also the forces at play in the universe which can be understood from different points of view. My submission, therefore, is that whatever man seems to be passing through and considers a PROBLEM is just a function of what he knows and how to go about it and these are enshrined in the forces operating in the universe which science and philosophy (and or logic) have some answers to. However, the metaphysical is often resorted to in trying to solve these problems militating against the survival, growth, and development of man. Whichever way man considers best in solving his problem, one thing should be borne in mind "harm no one". How you react to the above submissions are left to you...IEB
